Beacon Signal Earth pt.2 or Space Beacon Earth Pt.2 was recorded at University in 2008 as a short 1.30 track. The circle of fifths are once again being used but with shorter timed intervals and a programmed drum. This programmed drum was even at the time influenced by Jakki Leibeziet from CAN on 'Oh Yeah' from Tago Mago. The track was used as part of a photography installation in London at the time of its original recording. It went from quiet to loud and then stopped which felt a little unfinished to me. In the remix I put the same 1.30 in reverse and stuck it to the end of the track so the reverse and forward motion intersect (which actually happens on Oh Yeah by CAN as well) . This track has an ambient'ish atmosphere and follows the same technique as on 'Space Beacon Earth' the original version of which was recorded about a year earlier in 2007....It would be a few years before i explored this type of music again.....
