With my Roland Fantom work station, I programmed two new sounds: One a polyphonic synthesiser for which I wrote a melodic piece which will become 'Galaxia pt.2'. The other is a sound with three oscillators including wind chimes which made an interesting percussive sound. This sound was so soothing and interesting to my mind that I thought I would create a whole piece with that as the main feature. I was so interested with the sonics of the sound that I used it as the solitary feature of this track, which is effectively a slow broken chord spread across two hands.

'Galaxia' itself is an idea of universal utopia which originates from a planet called 'Gaia' in Isaac Asimov's 'Foundation series.' It is fully described in 'Foundation and Earth' as a way to establish utopia for mankind through out the universe.
