Like a character from H.G Wells, influenced vaguely by 'the Chronic Argonauts.' It was also influenced by World War 1 memorials. The history of humanity has been at various times awful. Utopia as of yet, has not been achieved, and who knows if it ever shall. Quentin Branchstick built a time machine in 1914 to avoid the draft. His journey through time was made to find the civilisation, and times which he would fit into best. From the various empires of the past, and those still to come! Quentin Branchstick travelled finding that nearly all had various difficulties urging him to move onwards. Quentin Branchstick presumed dead in the early 20th century, would often visit his own grave, to give it's scant few visitors quite the old fright!…..The 4th dimension, or the Twilight Zone!
lyrics
The life and times of Quentin Branchstick !
There is a man who lives in spite of time,
a frozen clock stands by his wall,
on the hour hear the silent chimes,
echo around the timeless hall.
Now we're in the garden,
where the sun comes down,
settling nicely on the frost,
there stands the grave of the silent man,
whose life was unfortunate and lost.
The life and times of Quentin Branchstick,
all happened long ago,
the life and times of Quentin Branchstick,
could happen tomorrow,
the life and times of Quentin Branch stick
a grave yard in the snow.
Whether he hit the bottom,
or reached the top,
there's only one place we all go,
there's only one place we all go,
there's only one place we all go…away!
In the past of the future,
theres a grave yard in the snow,
there stands a grave of the silent man,
born before tomorrow.
Vanishing in the garden,
where the sun shines on the frost,
Quentin Branchstick built a time machine,
found before he went lost.
The life and times of Quentin Branchstick
happened long ago,
the life and times of Quentin Branchstick
could happen tomorrow,
the life and times of Quentin Branchstick,
a grave yard in the snow,
whether he hit the bottom,
or reached the top,
there's only one place we all go,
there's only one place we all go,
there's only one place we are going too…!
He's found a new place we can go,
he's found a new place we can go
he's found a new place we can go too…..!
