Possibly one of my most experimental solo albums. Recording for this album started in November 2020 and recordings ended in January 2021. Mixing and production of this primarily electronic album was done in the intervening time (writing 30th July 2021) Part One was mixed twice. All but the last five minutes of side two were recorded in the dark, and were done to reflect a desolate landscape akin to being inside a black hole (hence the title)...That is the atmosphere that pervades these two twenty minute tracks. With part two being a little more ambient than side one....
