The Troposphere or the Clouds Project as it was dubbed during much of its creation was started during the Easter period (March 2023) and was actually recorded relatively quickly. Moving away from 2022's decision to create a kosmische influenced track that could be performed live (potentially), I instead decided I wanted to create a 'studio album' with the analogue synthesiser primarily.

I was very inspired to create an album that was somewhat more commercial than the last and forgot all conceits on this album of creating a live track for the purposes of any performance material. So I came up with the idea of the ten main cloud types and depicting them in sound. In the end this meant that I didn't just keep to the analogue synthesiser and used the digital Roland Fantom 08 Workstation where appropriate too, incorporating instrumental sounds like the piano and mellotron and string section.

So really an album that was created in four months the Troposphere. The concept is pretty self explanatory; the ten main cloud types...Live it up....
