Referencing the title of an Isaac Asimov book of short stores, I sought to further streamline my previous offerings approach ( Fifth Dimensional Space). To do this I limited myself to five chords and a simple motif that I would 'vary' over the course of an album, like musical circuitry with 'soul' for the mind.

I started working on this album in March 2017 and ended in May 2018, took over a year. Here it is 'Variations on a Theme to Robot Dreams' over a year in the making. Featuring compositions produced on the Roland Fantom 08 and Laptop. Although separate tracks it is intended to be listened to as a single piece of long music lasting 40 minutes.
