Somewhat inspired by the ascent up the belfry spire (pictured with this track) amongst other things I should expect (A lot of the music I come up with just comes from a mix of things all at once). I really wanted to come up with something really melodic having returned from a holiday wandering around the Istrian Riviera in Croatia. I wanted to record a track that had really strong melodies that I would possibly use the synthesiser to express. So, I came up with something on the piano with a view to moving it over to the synthesiser. I was so pleased though with how it sounded on the piano, I decided to not arrange it onto synthesisers as I enjoyed the piano flourishes I added (particularly the left hand stuff), which I may have had to reduce if I had arranged it as originally planned for synthesisers.

The track was influenced by a sense of freedom I experienced wandering around the Istrian Riviera in Croatia translated to the joy of playing my piano. Composed and recorded in August 2023.
